- Potato 3
- Onions 1(small)
- Green Chilies 3
- Curry leaves 4 or 5
- Mustard
- Cumin seed (Jeera )
- Channa dhal for seasoning
- Ginger-small piece
- Milk-1 ounce
Methods/steps
- Peel the potato and cut into cubes.
- Pour oil in the bowl and season it with mustard, cumin seed (jeera), channa dhal and curry leaves.
- Put the green chilies, ginger and the cut onions and fry it for 1 minute.
- Next add the potato cubes, turmeric powder and salt and fry it.
- Cover and cook it with little water and milk.
- Finally, mash the potatoes and serve it hot for poori.
