Description Misti Doi….I hope I do not need to introduce to the readers!!! One of the most popular dishes; can be served with Muri, Chira, also with rice and can be served only itself!

  • Milk 1 liters
  • sugar 100 gms
  • Yogurt (Doi) 25 gms
  • Small container of 1.5 kg. capacity Or Casserole
Methods/steps
  1. Put the milk to boil on Medium heat.
  2. Once it is boiled simmer the gas and beat occasionally.
  3. See that the milk is reduced to almost 50% and becomes thick and light brown in color.
  4. Add sugar and mix it properly.
  5. Take it off the flame and cool it till the mixture becomes Luke warm.
  6. Transfer the mixture into the Pot / Casserole.
  7. Mix the Yogurt into the mixture.
  8. Cover and allow setting for 8 to 12 hours at a warm place, do not open or move the pot during this period.
  9. Uncover and Store in a refrigerator.
  10. Serve it
