  • 1 L homogenized milk
  • 250 gm basmati rice
  • 500 gm brown sugar
  • 125 gm raisins
  • Dashes of white cardamom
Methods/steps
  1. Place rice in a colander and rinse with cold water.
  2. Bring milk and rice to boil in a saucepan.
  3. Simmer, tightly covered, for 25 minutes.
  4. Add sugar and cardamom.
  5. Put down from the stove, cool slightly and serve.
Additional Tips

You can also add other nuts in kheer to make it more dynamic.
